    Trustees of The MacDougall Trust

THE late Alan Campbell of Glenfeochan and local lawer Robin Banks were instrumental in setting up The MacDougall Trust with Miss Hope MacDougall to care for the Collection and secure a suitable and sustainable future for it.
After Alan's death in 1996, his wife Sona was persuaded by Hope MacDougall to join the Trust.

Miss MacDougall's niece Sheana Studholme of Surrey is also one of the founder Trustees.

Hugh Cheape of Edinburgh and the National Museum of Scotland is also a founder Trustee and the Trust has benefited from his invaluable advice over the years.

Professor Sandy Fenton of Edinburgh was also an original trustee but retired some years ago.

Alison McNab of Ganavan is also a trustee and secretary to The MacDougall Trust. She has been involved with the Collection for seven years.

Catherine Gillies, nee MacDonald was a trustee for a number of years but had to resign when she became employed by the Trust to manage The Hope MacDougall Collection project.

Peter MacLeod of Ganavan has a deep interest in social history and was appointed a Trustee in 2003.

Rev. Brian Wilkinson of Taynuilt, Argyll was a close friend of Miss Hope MacDougall and was appointed to be a trustee also in 2003.

Michael Davis of Helensburgh was appointed in 2004 as a Trustee. Michael has been heavily involved in working to document and save the heritage of Argyll and Bute.

Alice Hoon, a long term volunteer with The Hope MacDougall Collection, was appointed in 2007 as a trustee along with fellow long term volunteer Sue Rimmer.
