  • What happened in 2002 ?

    11th August 2002 - Kerrera Day
The Hope MacDougall Collection will be present at Kerrera's special day, and will be based at their new community centre in the refurbished old school.
Miss MacDougall had close links with Kerrera, and was the author of the definitive historical work 'Island of Kerrera - Mirror of History', which is currently being edited for reprinting. We will be able to show a number of artefacts from the Collection which relate to the island.

    22nd August 2002 - The Argyllshire Gathering
The Hope MacDougall Collection will be in the Heritage tent at the Argyllshire Gathering in Oban.
You will be able to see a display of objects, and learn more about the story of the Collection on our interprative boards. Project workers and Trustees, and Friends will be on hand to chat - we find we learn more from visitors than we have information to offer!
You will also be able to join the Friends of The Hope MacDougall Collection on the day.

What happened in 2002? There is presumably lots more
These are from the old newsletters - but what we need it a short write up from each event - who, what were and how.! Having them in the future tense is too weird and looks wrong
